About the CEO – Ohene Kwame Frimpong

Ohene Kwame Frimpong is a Ghanaian entrepreneur, philanthropist, and politician, widely known as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Salt Media GH.

Born on 23 September 1986 and hailing from Agogo in the Ashanti Region, he built his career with a strong focus on business, media, and community impact. He received his education in Ghana and the United Kingdom, studying at Central University College and CONEL in London.

As an entrepreneur, he established Salt Media GH, which includes Salt 95.9 FM, Salt TV, and an online news platform. His goal was to create a medium that would educate, inform, and give visibility to communities often overlooked in mainstream media.

Beyond business, he is widely recognized for his philanthropic work. He has supported numerous initiatives including:

  • Building schools and healthcare facilities
  • Supporting widows and vulnerable groups
  • Funding the construction of the Agogo Central Mosque and community facilities

In 2024, he entered politics and was elected as the Member of Parliament for the Asante Akyem North constituency as an independent candidate, defeating the incumbent.
